Teacher Mentoring
As a mentor for new teachers, I played an active role in guiding their professional growth. I held weekly meetings to discuss teaching objectives, offering tailored support to help them meet those goals. I regularly reviewed their lesson plans and PowerPoint presentations, providing detailed, constructive feedback to ensure alignment with curriculum standards and enhance lesson delivery.
In addition to refining their materials, I shared proven strategies for increasing student engagement, fostering a more interactive and effective classroom environment. My mentorship extended beyond advice—I conducted regular observations to give real-time feedback and encouraged new teachers to observe my classes, allowing them to see various engagement techniques in action.
My efforts in this area were recognized with a formal mentoring certificate.
